Three revenue engines
Founding sponsorships ($500–$25K tiers; flagship slot open), paid apps (GifBook Studio $4.99, City of Children $3.99), and studio client work for global brands. None of them is a child's attention.
MR. BRAY LABS
Founding Round — Now Open
Mr. Bray Labs is a learning-engineering and media-psychology lab whose products reach kids through the one institution every town already trusts: the public library. Our distribution moat isn't an ad budget — it's 15 founding library partners, 100 books live in the App Store, and 5,327 libraries with no digital presence waiting for the pages we're building.
This week the Lab ships seven products in eight days — a launch cadence this team has sustained all year across apps, games, and learning platforms for Apple, Mars, Virgin Media, and Intel. Founding investors aren't buying a plan. They're buying a streak, at the moment it goes public.
Anyone can ship a reading app. Nobody else is building through libraries: kids join with a library card, only libraries can add content, and every sponsor dollar converts into physical infrastructure — steward kits, printed waves, and directory pages for the 5,327 U.S. libraries (of 9,249 systems) with no digital presence at all. Each funded unit makes the network denser and the moat wider. The model is COPPA-clean by design: no ads, no child data, no sponsor brand inside the child experience — the exact trust profile EdTech acquirers pay premiums for.

Ships steward kits and library pages at national scale, builds the in-house print shop that fulfills them, funds new Inklings content seasons and the Lab's slate (Ellie, City of Children, GifBook Studio), and gives the founding team real runway.
Libraries are the last trusted, free, everywhere distribution channel in American childhood — 9,249 systems, a branch in nearly every town, and a mission identical to ours. We bring them the digital layer they've never had.
Jesse Bray grew up homeless and dyslexic; a small library outside Sanford, Maine was his sanctuary. He became Supervising Producer & Technical Director on Apple TV+'s Yo Gabba GabbaLand!, built Mars' Treat Town in a pandemic sprint, taught 60,000+ learners, helped secure $750K+ in grants, and grew products to 150,000+ users. He also served as CTO of Hoplon Visibility AI (enterprise SaaS) — that chapter closed in 2026, and Mr. Bray Labs is his only company now. St. Edward's University — where he's completing his Ed.D. — has already offered him a professorship on completion.
This round funds the founder's own thesis: stories are food, libraries are the table, and the lab that feeds kids best wins the decade.
